An online game, in collaboration with the Chinese military, has been released in China that simulates an amphibious assault on the Japanese-controlled Senkaku islands.
BBC reports that Glorious Mission Online was developed and released on the Chinese Army Day to inspire University graduates, who are attracted to war games, to join the army.
The release of the online version of the war game comes after months of confrontation between Japanese and Chinese vessels in the disputed waters of East China Sea, the report added.
Giant Interactive Group (GIG) has designed the graphics of the game showing China's only aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, in action off the islands. (ANI)
