It has been reported by news outlets in the Far East that Foxconn has started ?large-scale? hires. One source has even been cited as saying that Foxconn is going to produce the iPhone 6, that is contrary to recent rumors which have us believe that Apple is going to unveil iPhone 5S this time around. iPhone 6 release has been slated for 2014 and it is expected to come with big design changes.

It is said that the Foxconn plant in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, currently has over 210,000 workers. The hiring spree will bring in even more works so that the company can keep up with production demand. During the peak manufacturing period in 2012, this plant had more than 300,000 workers. The plant has been rumored to be manufacturing an iPhone that has a borderless design as well as an aluminium and carbon fiber shell. This would very well cut down the weight of the alleged device by as much as 40 percent.

There have already been a lot of rumors regarding iPhone 5S. It is believed that this smartphone will not have major design changes, that has been the norm with ?S? touting iPhones in the past. It may have exclusive software features such as video recording in slow motion at 120fps.
